Traffic is not the goal — calls are. When visitors arrive and the phone does not ring, the problem is rarely the traffic. It is one of five breaks between the visit and the call.
— The wrong visitors. Rankings for informational searches bring readers, not buyers. Check which queries actually bring your traffic; service-plus-city searches are the ones that ring phones.
— The phone number is hard to find. On mobile especially: if the number is not visible in the first screen and tappable, most visitors will not hunt for it.
— The page does not answer the fear. A customer with water in their kitchen is not comparing philosophies. Price guidance, response time and what happens next — pages that answer those get calls.
— Trust is missing at the decision point. Reviews, real photos and a real service area, placed where the decision happens — not buried in a footer.
— The call is not being counted. Without call tracking you cannot tell a quiet phone from a broken measurement. Fix the measurement before fixing the marketing.
